Every listing begins as a public business record on Google Maps for RV storage in Arizona.
Open businesses with reviews stay. Closed rows and businesses that are not storage are dropped.
Each facility's own site, for that location, says whether it parks RVs, boats or vehicles and whether it offers covered spaces.
No website to read means not enough info on the listing, never a guess.
Every RV storage facility on this site starts from public business records for the RV storage facility category in Arizona. We keep businesses that are open and have reviews, drop ones that are closed or not storage, and merge duplicates. We keep a listing when its own website names RV, boat or vehicle parking or storage, or when its primary Google type is RV storage or boat storage.
Details such as covered parking, indoor storage, pull-through spaces and 24-hour access come from the business's own website. When the website does not say, the listing says not enough info rather than guessing. Rates change, so we leave prices to the facility: call them directly. This directory is independent and is not affiliated with any storage operator.
Owners can claim a listing to correct details or add photos. A person checks every claim. Published by Bryan.
Picking an RV storage facility in Arizona usually comes down to three things: how far it is from home, whether the space has a roof, and whether the lot will take your rig's length and height. Arizona RV Storage Facilities is independent and not affiliated with any storage operator.
## Covered, enclosed or open
An open lot is a fenced, gated yard where the rig sits under the sky. A covered stall puts a canopy or carport roof over it. Enclosed storage is a garage-style unit with a door, often with power for a battery tender. On this site a listing shows covered spaces only when the facility itself says it has them, and covered listings come first on each city page after any paid placements. When a facility does not say, the listing reads not enough info rather than a guess.
In the lower deserts, NWS Phoenix dates the North American Monsoon from June 15 through September 30. For most of the Desert Southwest about half of the year's rain falls in those months, and it arrives with thunderstorms, dust storms and flash flooding. That is why owners in the Phoenix, Tucson and Yuma areas so often ask about a roof first.
## Size, access and extras
Measure your rig's full length, hitch included, and its height at the tallest point before you call. Ask whether the space is back-in or pull-through, how wide the drive aisles are, and whether the gate is open around the clock or only during set hours. If you keep batteries charged between trips, ask for a space with power. A dump station, fresh water, an air station or a wash bay on site can save a separate stop before and after every trip.
## What Arizona law puts on you
Arizona's self-service storage law (A.R.S. Title 33, Chapter 15) covers facilities that rent spaces where you store and remove your own property, and it counts a vehicle, trailer or motorized watercraft as stored property. Your rental agreement must tell you, in bold type, that insurance against fire, theft or damage is yours to provide. The operator holds a lien on what is stored from the day rent is unpaid and due. After more than thirty days of default, the operator may deny access, may sell the property at a public sale after the notices the law requires, and for a vehicle, watercraft or trailer may contract with a towing company to remove it after at least ten days' notice. For a vehicle, the notice of default goes to the registered owner at the address on ADOT or Game and Fish records. You also may not live in a leased storage space. RV parks are a different kind of business, so read their agreements on their own terms. Last checked 2026-10-23.
Travel trailers and camper or tent trailers are not eligible for ADOT's permanent trailer registration, so plan on a regular one, two or five year registration, and confirm coverage with your own insurer. Storage operators are not contractors, and this directory does not describe any listing as licensed in that sense.
## Before you rent
Read the agreement for the rent due date, the day a late fee starts and what happens if rent goes unpaid. Confirm that the space fits your length and height, when you can get through the gate, and whether you can wash or work on the rig on site.
Every listing starts from public business records for RV storage in Arizona. Closed businesses and ones that are not storage are dropped. A self-storage property stays only when its own page shows RV, boat or vehicle parking at that location, not just a company-wide menu link. What each facility offers comes from its own website.
No. A basic listing is free and stays free. Businesses can pay for a featured position, a premium listing or a best-of placement, and every paid placement is labeled wherever it appears.
It means the facility's own website says it has covered, canopy, carport or shade parking for RVs, boats or vehicles. Covered listings come first on each city page, after any paid spots. If the website does not say either way, the listing shows not enough info.
You do. Arizona law requires the rental agreement at a self-service storage facility to tell you, in bold type, that insurance against fire, theft or damage must be provided by you, the occupant. Check with your own insurer before you park. Last checked 2026-10-23.
The operator holds a lien on what is stored from the day rent is unpaid and due. After more than thirty days of default, Arizona law lets the operator deny access, sell the property at a public sale after required notices, and for a vehicle, watercraft or trailer, have it towed after at least ten days' notice. No. Arizona law says an operator of a self-service storage facility shall not knowingly permit a leased space to be used for residential purposes, and an occupant shall not use one that way. Last checked 2026-10-23.
Rates are set by each facility and change often, so we leave them off rather than show numbers that may be out of date. Call the facility for current rates and ask about any web or move-in specials.
Use the claim form on the listing page. Claiming is free. A person checks every request, either by a matching email domain or a call to the number on the Google listing, then updates the record.
